Starting to look at little more closely at insurance stocks. Although I work in the industry, I always shied away from them in the past. But some of the big names (including Hartford) are showing great underwriting results and their combined ratios over the past few years suggest that so long as they can manage CAT exposure carefully, they are going to provide modest but consistent growth over the long term.
