Summary Alternative energy stocks may be few and far between, but wind energy stocks are a major player in this field. Wind energy accounts for almost over 10% of all U.S. electric energy generation. That may seem like a small amount, but it takes into account that over 378 billion kWh of energy was created in the past year which is an astonishing amount of energy. The greatest wind power stocks include Ierdrola SA, Northland Power Inc., and TransAlta Renewables Inc. Other stocks in wind energy with the highest valuation include NextEra Energy with a valuation of over $166.5 billion, General Electric with a valuation of over $87.6 billion, and Vestas Wind Systems with a valuation of over $31.3 billion. Invest in wind energy as these valuation give you a glimpse of how large this segment of the energy sector can be.

Demand and Growth Continued demand and growth will rise in the wind energy as the geopolitical landscape will see a greater need to curb the threat that is global warming. Just in 2021 the wind electricity generation rose to a record of 273 TWh which is rising over 17% year over year. There is no end in sight to how high the amount could be in the near future. Just as in other sources of renewable energy, the field of wind energy could have its hands on other facets of industry as the parts are made from high grade aviation metals. And the energy is sourced directly from the wind which allows individuals, businesses, governments and communities to independently source their energy from a natural occurrence, the wind. Wind energy could also provide assistance in expanding your investing strategy. For example, wind energy could help look into other fields of how the sourced wind energy will be used. Such as for Tesla charging stations or home and business needs. Benefits are abounded for the different kinds of wind energy that is able to be gathered. For example, wind turbines are able to be installed and collect energy in the ocean, the desert, fields, hills, and other areas that may show bad landscape conditions. There is little risk in investing in wind energy as the renewable industry is continuing to grow. There is a plentiful number of stocks and funds one can choose to diversify their portfolio. There will be continued demand for wind turbine farms as a greater number of individuals across the world see a societal shift and tone of seeing the weather conditions starting to shift downward as a result of global warming. Governments and institutions are seeing crops and livelihoods changing in certain areas of the world. There is a greater need now more than ever to steer away from the path of doom. Wind energy is helping to contribute to energy that is able to protect instead of destroy livelihoods from shifting environmental changes. The only argument someone may take against wind energy turbines is that they could potentially destroy wildlife and birds, but no major evidence is present to state this fact. Investing in wind energy is an investment to a brighter future.
